Available in medical stainless steel (cost – effective) or titanium alloy (MRI – compatible). Both are suitable for sterile operating rooms and long – term implantation.
Sterilization Compatibility
Can withstand 134°C autoclaving, ensuring sterility in the operating room. It is reusable, which helps save costs.

Threaded K-wire: What Is It?

It is a specialized orthopedic guide pin featuring helical threads.
Used to anchor in the bone, it stabilizes fractures, guides implants, or provides temporary fixation. The threaded design locks into the bone tissue, preventing slippage. It is ideal for weight – bearing bones (such as the femur and tibia) and complex trauma cases.
